Look'n cool
I also think i should put it low, my GF sad "put it between the lights" now i can blame you guys when i set it at a lower direction!

The lower part is now in place with molded footings and a easy "snap on - snap off" solution.

Yes, the lower part is done now and will be in carbon as soon as the rest of the bumper is perfect in my eyes.
I´m glad the adjustment progress is done with the lower part at least.

oh my gaaaawwwwwd, thats exactly how I want my bumper. The spoiler (if you can call it that) is perfect and the gaping hole where the plate goes has always bothered me, well the size is of the hole is what bothers me. It could be a few inches deep max and with some super bright led's and the license plate area is money. Get "Euro" tails (w/super led's) and the reverse lights would be good to go as well.

With the lower section completely separate and wrapped in carbon it really will look like a diffuser....I mean, well you know what I mean .

After going through this thread I've thought about getting one of those kits from CarbonMods.com or something similar and making my own valance cover much like the one corvette enhancements sells. But at least it will be CF, something I created, and STILL cheaper than that stupid abs plastic cover.

Great job J|A this is some seriously awesome stuff.

I'm with you on that one! I've already ordered me a kit just to check it out.

Thank you nvusgt

Today i was looking at the design and feel like something missing.. i did a quick photoshop of a vent, should i do it?

I always thinking that area missed something on the c5, but im afraid it looks a little "rice" - opinions appreciate

I think it would look better without the vent, its a tad too rice for me, I appreciate the more subtle smooth lines.

Bra jobb hittills. Fortsätt med det goda arbetet. Det är alltid bäst när du kan göra dina egna delar.

P.S. My wife is a Swede from Malmo.

The bumper starts to get where i want it, now its time to fix the lines..

I started bolt the bumper in place and before that i taped the fenders, now i fill it up with fiberglass putty.

And now the lines starts to be really good!

And for you that follows the project - No updates on 2 weeks now, me and my GF goes to Thailand and hopefully get some sun.
