I'm in the market for a catback, listened to plenty and they were always to tame or to racaus. Finally got to hear the Magnaflow Catbacks, mellow yet deep, without being irritating. Haven't seen alot of people raving about 'em, but I think that where I'm going.

B&B PRT's are excellent exhausts. Deep idle, loud on full throttle and very little or no drone at cruise.

I had Magnaflow's standard system (not the straight pipe version) with headers, H/C, and ORX pipe, and they were too quiet for me. Very deep tone, and sweet sounding, almost musical, but just too quiet. Went to Corsa Pace Cars, and they were so much louder, I had to add HF cats to make them a little quieter. The Corsas sound great, but are higher pitched than some other systems, and I did miss the deep tone. However, I believe you can get the deep tone, without drone (Borla Stingers) with the GHL Bullets. That's what I'd get, if they had the Daytona tips, like my Corsas do. I LOVE the Daytona tips!

I just took the corsas off and put the magnaflows on. Magnaflow is way deeper. I did not like the raspy corsas. I ordered the Zoomers to give them a try.

I was feeling the same way, and after looking around for a while I ended up buying the Magnaflow 16732 - the ones with the 4 inch tips. I haven't put them on yet (won't until spring) but even though I know they won't be "much" louder than stock they had that deep, mellow, tone that I was looking for. From what I hear others say, they wake up nicely when you get in the higher RPMs.

don't know about the C5 but the Magnaflows I have on my C4 are my favorite. The C5 I'm buying has some mid america something or the other on it and they are loud. Going to change it over to Magnaflows as soon as I'm able.

Default Ti Exhaust...

I went from the bone stock system in my 99 coupe to TPIS LTs, Random Catted X pipe and Ti from an 03 Z06.
Barely louder at idle, quiet at cruise, very aggressive sounding at WOT.
No drone or popping when you let off at higher rpms either.

I couldn't be happier.
