Hi all I need some help I am looking at the NT05R and the Nitto 555R or RII currently I have 315/30/r18 bfg g force T/A drag radials on the rears (needs replacing right now) on the fronts I am using 265/35/r18 nitto 555's.
Looking at sizes the NT05R 305/45R/18 or 315/40R/18 I figure that last one is out, will a 305/45/18 work though?
555R and 555RII 305/35zr/18
Will the 305/35/18 work? Will it work the best? or should I just get another pair of the BFG's?
i ran the 305x35 on my 01 z and they worked great....the 45's will be that much taller...not sure you would want those..
one down side i experienced was the sand blasting effect to the rear and lower side rear of my z..due to the softer and wider tire..so as i suggest getting a set ,even though they are pricey..the car will keep from getting really scratched up ..
on my 04 z i run the Apsis splashguards and they have really saved the lower sides, brake duct areas of my Z ..here's a pic..hope it helps

Thanks bud sharp looking vette as well. so I will go for the 555R or RII in the 305/35/18 then I have driven the MT et streets and they were bad in the rain, not digging the BFG so hopefully the nitto will be better on the street
