Not sure about all the Honda talk when the spoiler came off a T/A...

Nice car, good find. Nice that you are able to look past the spoiler and purchase the car knowing it comes off.

Great find!!!! That thing is a brand new car,,,the drive train is just getting broken in!!I would have jumped on it too for a good price!! You don't have to be a genius too figure out,,get a good deal an remove all the ricer tack on stuff when you get it home!!That will be a great looking car when you are done getting that stuff off!! Congrats on the find!!!

Because we have a duty as fellow Vette owners to let a brother know something looks like S**T.

That's why.

btw the way nobody dissed the taillight trim or vent spears that also should come off ASAP. IMMHO

Are there any wires from the spoiler? Maybe it's a TV antenna like you see on huge RV's!

I took absolutely no offense to any of the posts and agreed with everyone. I knew when I posted the pics I would get a reaction. I hope, when the restoration work is done, the comments will be "you can't tell at all that there was ever anything hideous bolted on the rear deck."

By the way, it has been removed and little nylon screws are in place to seal the holes. Monday it goes to the shop for an estimate. The shop is so busy it may be April before it is done.

It seems that used trunk lids are available, so I could get one fixed up. You know the story after that... only a body man or a SOB would notice, only the SOB would say anything.
I think the FRC is a great car and how did you find on with 7K in miles on it? and how much did you pay for it ? If you don't mine asking ? But I think it is beautiful, even with the wing. The car is silver and it really doesn't look that bad. JMHO

Nice low mileage deal good luck with it.As for the spoiler just tell them it's an XM antenae. I like your idea about leaving it by the highway and seeing what it ends up on.Painting to match should be no problem as it seems pewter was every where for a while and the body shops know the color well. Have fun.
