I purchased my 2002 Mag Red Vert new and took delivery on 9/30/2001. I returned a leased 1998 Pewter vert and originally was going to also lease the 02 but wound up buying it outright because GM offered 0% financing after 9/11, so I couldnt pass up the offer. I felt very confident about buying it because I've never really had problems to speak of regarding reliabilty with any other Vette I've had in the past and I'm very glad I did. Unfortunatly the dealership I bought it from Ramp Chevrolet in Port Jefferson, NY had recently went out of business and it's a real shame because IMO they had the best service dept around, I knew most of the techs and advisors and they were honest with me. So to date this is the longest time I've been in the same car and I don't plan on selling it anytime soon. Currently at about 72K on the clock and runs great!

Bought it off the show room floor on 05/11/99...I made the mistake of taking it for a test drive....Since then new wheels and tires, headers, X-pipe, hi-flow cats, supercharger and Z06 exhaust....It's a little faster now....

Purchased it 2/27/01 from Kerbeck. Took an 18 wheeler car carrier down to pick it up in the rain. Did not want to drive it in the rain and sandy roads. Just have over 19K on it.
