Bought my 99 in 09, with 43k miles on it (50k on it now). It was garage kept, one previous owner. He had a Corsa Sport exhaust kit installed, but stock other than that. I changed out the "wagon wheels" with chrome 5 spoke C6 wheels, and I love it.

I never buy new cars. I made that mistake when I first got out of college, and will never do so again. I also have a used 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that I bought in 07. Agree with the comment "buy used and have more money for mods." I lifted the Jeep, and built it up big time for off road use. Aside from window tint, new wheels, and an exhaust enhancer plate, I haven't modded my C5, although I really don't want to tinker with it any more than I have. If anything, I would have added aftermarker exhaust, but that has already been done for me.

I also have a beat up 98 Mustang GT that I use for my beater / get around car....

Bought my 2001 torch red convertible in May 2010, 23,000 miles on the odo with new runflats. Feels like a new car to me. Put 5500 miles on it last summer and plan on putting more than that on it this year. Go ahead and flame me, I paid more than $22k but I am happy.
