Just an update....I did this last week. I bought all clear bulbs when I made the switch. The drivers side housing had been hot and started melting the top of the housing. Not as bad as the one pictured earlier.
The other thing worth mentioning is, the second one went way faster than the first one. I had that stupid spring fly off and didn't even know for sure where it was attached.....Well once I figured that out, it was much simpler.
The driver's side, I removed and replaced in about 20 minutes the passenger side, took about an hour.
