Default Krause Bar

I just sold my C6 and bought a C5Z06. I have a C5Z06 Krause Bar (complete) with 5 Point Harness. Just wonder if anyone has used this with race seats for HPDE and if it works for securing the driver into the seat.

Thanks
R

YA I did it also just decided that c5z has same power and feels better to drive on track and even after 5k in mods and tune c5z has the better performance. Will be putting c6 items I have on forum and going to summit raceway in April to get rid of the rest.

I think most will say that since the OEM C5Z seats don't allow the belts to go thru the seat, they wouldn't/couldn't use a harness bar/belts on the track. Put in an Sparco EVO, Corbeau A4, Kirkey, etc., the BK bar would be just fine.

YMMV

EDIT. With race seats, I've read that the BK works fine.

Thanks for the info I am looking at seats right now. i am looking at the Sparco Evo 2 series.

Thanks for all the help on this. I know when I tracked the C6, I just didn't feel secure with the standard belts and went for a ride with the instructors the harness was just more secure. I have the Krause and 5 point harness just looking for the right seat.

Thanks
Ron

I'll be looking into the Sparco Evo2, I'm a little wider in the hips, just like my Z

I'm 6' and about 215 right now so I am going to race shop and sit in them this weekend to see what fits better. From what I hear the Evo is a goos seat.
