Whats the word on this? Did it get completed or was it a bust whats the update???
Definitely not a bust. Very very doable especially with someone that has more skill than me. Problem is I have manynother things going on with the car and it's been put on hold. It's sits nicely in a shed where it awaits to be completed
I just have to prioritize right now and the dash isn't a smart move for now.
I'll update the thread when the progress continues!
Ahhh ok cool... I was just curious what came of this. I figured it is doable just tough and takes either some sick fiberglass skills or a lot of patience.

Honestly, the hardest parts are the edges, that's where I stopped, to get that smooth will be harrrdd. Everything else isnt as bad.
This is my first response to your original post. At this point, please don't give up! Looking forward to seeing this idea come to fruition. How's that Harrop running and what it cost to do that mod? Where's more info? Good luck with the dash!

The Harrop is underway. I recently switched all my lines to stainless braided and AN fittings. The dash prolly cost around $60-100. It's been a while but I think that's what I've spent in supplies. Unless you mean the Harrop?

Btw thanks for understanding
I understand this stuff lol when I am not in school I am doing fiberglass work and I know it can be a pain... The toughest part is the sanding and on this you want no ripples or waves it has to be near perfect. However the good thing about fiberglass is that if you don't roll out a bubble or is there is a dip where their shouldnt be one, it is easy to sand it out and reglass it and start over.
I have been considering getting a Stock C5 hood and modifing it into a one off hood maybe I will tackle that job over the summer I have an uncle that is ridiculous when it comes to fiberglass work and I know he would help me tackle the job and take pride in his work

Definitely man, and go for it dude. One guy did a 4 inch cowl, bit extreme, but you get the idea.
