I was checking out some DIY videos for installing the Vinyl on youtube. It seems to be perfect for tight corners, etc. The first thing that came to mind when I was watching it was your dash. Did you check out the link I posted? I think they have much better price then 300 bucks. and shipping is free. Oh and the weight factor will be considerably less.
I'm going to give it a go on my center console to breakup the flat black.
Yup I did, thats an ok price, I actually found some on ebay for around $75? Thats in the size I need too. Ill check those youtube video's for some reassurance on wrapping this dash.

heck hydrocarbon and vinyl is for sissys I vote you airbrush the whole thing in a carbon fiber pattern.
Nope not giving up. All I have to do really is repeat that proccess I did, and finish up the edge. Its just that Those nice weather days back than when I was doing this, are here now but I work the whole day (12:30-8:30). Im actually trying to get my harrop on and tuned cause now I can somewhat drive the car. I put this on hold until I get the Harrop on basically. I really really want that on for Rod Run. and then when I get that and my Steering wheel on. I can try and bust this dash out but damn thatll be hard haha.
Ok now my hopes are crush haha, I went out, spent some time on it. Damn am I at a hard part. Im gonna see when a friend of mine has time to come help me cause I really dont wanna waste materials on how to do this. I have at least $80 just in resin haha
I can post Pics where Im "stuck" and dont know where to go.IM sure my friend can help me when college lets out. It woulda been nice to have this done by Rod run
Thought Id snap some pics while I test fit the dash, talked to my friend so we'll see when he can help.
Fitment wise....seriously....it went right in(that's what she said )
Just put the bezel in...
Outside, looking in...
No problems at all, I will say that around the top of the bezel and the cluster will be the hardest thing to make "look good". Cant wait though, got my CF hood layed on the car today too, oh and the smoothline top
Happy modding!!
