WOW! Really? Flip him off because he doesn't wave at you? Start flipping people off and you better start watching over your shoulder and when you park your beloved car.

I think the "wave" thing began going wrong when C5 and C6 people felt too good to wave to C4 people. Now C4 people have C5's and C6's and they don't wave half the time anymore. In my C4 I got so tired of C5 and C6 guys not waving I just quit. Sure enough when I quit, people threw a wave. So I adopted the two fingers stickin up from the steering wheel wave. Doesn't take much effort, but it's enough if they're looking. I'll make it a POINT to wave at C4's though.

Was that you? i saw a c5 and waved, and the guy flipped me off just kidding
Man, I did the opposite, I was getting tailgated by someone and I kept looking at my rear view mirror and wondering why he was riding my bumper. He flew past me with his C5 vert that looks identical to mine and he was smiling and giving me the thumbs up - since I was a little irritated and it happened so fast, I accidently flipped him off....I never seen a facial expression change so fast. If you're here fellow C5 owner and you we're San Diego and got flipped....I'm sorrrry!!!

I usually wave at all Vettes. Sometimes they wave sometimes they don't. Not a big deal! C4 guys rarely wave, most C5 guys wave, half of the C6 guys wave. The ones that do wave, I'm guessing have owned other vettes. The others are new to the Vette scene and aren't aware of the wave. Sometimes, there's a glare on the windshield on oncoming cars and you just can't see the wave or they can't see you. My first vette was in 1976. They waved back then too.
Most C6 Owners are older. ( I shouldn't talk) Maybe he has bad eyesight and didn't notice the bird, just thought it was a nice friendly wave and he never knew about the wave since most likley this is his 1st vett.
Wave at him again.
i could go on and on about this but ive noticed that the female vette drivers almost never wave. and alot of c6 drivers seem to be very fixated with looking straight forward. it might just be my area. not bashing females or c6's just cant stand when i go to wave and feel like an idiot afterwards

I don't think that's it. I think alot of C5 & C6 owners maybe first time corvette owners and they don't know about the wave. So lets play nice out there. And give these owners a nice big...... They will catch on.

Exactly! who cares if you wave or don't wave. I barely even wave to my friends or people I know.
