This is what I did (ALT to Diagram 2).

It works great. I've had it in place close to a year with no problems.

Nevermind. The search button came in handy.

This goes to the 10mm nut behind the battery as a ground

#87 = Brown output wires
This taps into BOTH of the low beam fuses

For you guys with the 6-pack version, there's a blue wire that comes off the second relay that goes into your foglight fuse.

Ok. So that worked.

I installed a fog light hid kit just now and let it run for a little bit. The temperature of the fog light housing after 10 minutes was over 200 degrees. That scares me a little....

That seems really hot, I have 35w 6K hid in my fogs and are on everyday with no issues.

The far end closest to the bulb. About 150-160 range towards the outside. I am running a 35w 3300k which is a yellow hid. Compared to the stock halogen bulb after 10 minutes which was around 150-160 degrees. The HID after the same time got up into the 210 degree range. The highest spike I saw was 213. I am curious wether I should run these in the fogs or not.

The factory fog housing has some type of plastic/ceramic bowl structure. It's safe to run HIDs in there but only the 35w version.
