Default C6 wheels on a C5?

I have not seen this precise question answered. Does the offset of C6 wheels fit on a C5? I currently run 18F & 19R on my 01 Convertible with no issues. But they are not factory wheels. I am looking at picking up a set of factory wheels but not sure if they will fit.... Suggestions?

THANKS!

C6 offset is 16mm deeper than C5 (in the rear). Most run 1" adapters instead of finding 3/4" spacers and running longer studs. Fronts are the same.

The replicas are made to fit the stock C5 sizes. The OEM GM C6 wheels are not.

I have stock C6 wheels on my 1999 and they work fine with no spacers. With some C5s, the rear wheels may rub and require a 1/4 inch spacer.

I have OEM C6 Z06 wheels on my 98... I did add L5 fenders to allow for the extra width of the 19X12 wheels.

Does anyone have the backspace measurement for the factory C6 wheels? Backspace = the distance from the flat hub flange to the outside of the rear lip of the wheel. The easiest way to measure this is to lay a straight edge across the back of the wheel and measure down to the hub.

78mm offset on a 10" wheel calculates to ~8" back spacing. For future reference the formula is width/2+the offset converted to inches. (10/2)+(78/25.4)=8.07"
I've seen C6 wheels on a C5 and personally they sit a little too far in for my tastes. Whether or not they rub is really going to depend on what size tire is mounted on them.
