Question: How do you remove the cowl
I am wondering how difficult it is to remove the cowl with the windshild wipers. I am considering painting it but not certain if it is too difficult to remove. Also, those that have removed their front cowl did it leak anywhere when, caught in rain, or while washing car?

No it's not hard. I took mine off and painted it and it turned out well. I had no problems with leaks either and we do get the odd drop of rain in Ireland.
