In the area of New Jersey where I live you can find 93 for around $3.80 a gallon AND we don't have to pump it ourselves. The attendants here do a better job than you would think, especially when I pull in with the Vette. I never have a problem with spilled gas on my vehicles, including my truck.

False economy. The knock sensor retards the ignition when it senses the pinging. That results in lower gas mileage and reduced power. In extremis, you'll damage the engine.
I paid $3.95 for 91 premium in my Lexus yesterday. The low end junk with ethanol is $3.58. I only put that stuff in my Saturn since it runs the same either way and I get between 25-40 MPG in it anyway.
