I've seen a bunch of them making right around 375 rwhp with an exhaust, tune, and cai. Like mentioned, its a 4k plus PIG. Race him and watch his car get smaller and smaller in your rear view mirror.

To the OP - It will be a drivers race, but I would say you win IF you can launch your car. Best advice - Leave on the 2nd yellow! If he waits to see green then you are probably already 1.5 seconds down the track and that sews up the victory for you! Best of luck and be careful!

I raced alot of stock SRT8's in my Trailblazer SS and they always ran in the 12.8-13.2 range. So I would go to a track by myself first to see what your car can do. Maybe there will be an SRT8 there so you can get a good comparison in the same DA of how you would match up.

both of these cars are stock. mine is 2002 a4 with 273s. i have other cars that are faster. this is my wifes daily driver. i just wanna take a ben franklin from him for the bull im hearing out of him!

All I have to say is my stock A4 (besides an exhaust) compared to my stock Jeep SRT8 (With cold air-intake) couldn't touch my Jeep off the line but in the long haul above 80ish the Vette would take over.

I would be very careful..My good friend has one and its fast, he even has a challenger srt8(same motor) and smoked a stock 05 vette. for insurance put a shot of NOS to it

Luckily most people are all talk and cant really drive their cars.
My drummer never has a chance in his SRT8 and his is modded.
I like joking with him and telling him it can almost keep up with my wifes new beetle.

very true...stock 05 driver couldn't drive and srt8 has several drag cars including proMods so he could drive a lot better. but with 273 gear he needs to be careful and make sure he doesn't mess up

It's the WEIGHT for the SRT8's that kills them - great motor and set-up but the weight is piggish for them
