Default C5 Cover Problems/Recommendations

I have a C5 coupe which I keep outside in my driveway most of the time except winter. Whenever I park in my driveway, I put my car cover on my car, even if only for an hour.

I bought and use a Coverking Stormproof. I bought it from one of our forum vendors about 3 years ago when some sort of package deal was offered.

So, like I said, I have been using it out in the weather for about 3 years. After my first year of use, I started to notice that the front and rear elastic wasn't holding the cover on the car anymore. Even with only a slight breeze, I've come out some mornings and have the cover being held onto my car only by the center under car tie down wire.

Needless to say, this started to frustrate me to no end.

Have any of you guys had this type of problem and what did you do to correct it (if anything)

I thought I was buying one of the best recommended covers on the market at almost $300 and the darn thing won't stay on the car.
Did I just get a defective cover? Or is 3 years all I should expect from one of these?

I'm about to buy another cover, does anyone have any recommendations on what cover I should buy? Is Coverking Stormproof
still the best recommended cover and should I just expect it not to stay on the car?

Am I the only one having these car cover problems?

Thanks for your suggestions and recommendations
Bruce
