The 55 will pull away from these 2 cars.THANKS for any thoughts
Impossible to tell, not enough information. The C5 will probably run easy low-mid 13s but the 55 - who knows. You didn't list cam specs, head type or flow numbers or basically anything. Could be anywhere from 250-500rwhp. If you have dyno specs that would be better for producing a decent estimate.
Who's "we have" ?
What are the mods to the C5?
What is the hp#'s in the 55?
Where is this bench racing taking place and how much beer has been consumed?

Okay, here's what you're really looking for:
WOW MAN, WHAT A STABLE OF HIGH PERFORMANCE CARS YOU HAVE!
I know the engine dyno for my built 454 read 440/500 before i dropped it back into my 72 and my bolt on C5 will leave it behind. It loses so much power through the th400 that i would be lucky to get 300 rwhp.
3200 lbs???? Must be gutted with lots of fiberglass body works.
Not true, It depends on the body style and trim and model. A full trim Bel aire may way 3400 or better while a "150" sedan will top out at 3100 give or take a few pounds. By the way, a well set up "55" with a small block and some decent gears and tires can run high to mid 11s and be very streetable. They have great weight transfer and will cut a very good "60" foot time when set up right. I owned 14 55 Chevys over the years and raced them in C & D gas back in the day.
Ain't nothing like rowing through the gears in a straight axle "55"!

Not true.......The weight of all body styles except the station wagons (3,200 to 3,300 pounds) is about 3,100 pounds. Dont be so fast to jump to conclusions.
