I didn't have much of a choice....It was a brand new Blazer and I moved it so I could spray Thompsons Water Seal on our deck. Well It wasn't far enough away and the wind covered it....
It was a lot of work, washing it twice and then waxing but like I said it never shined like that before.....or ever again...
Lesson learned.....now if I spray anything the car is a block away !
But mineral spirits or non sudsing ammonia is also great on the windshield to remove all road oil etc !..
After I clay bar I wipe the car down with mineral sprits to get the cleanest finish possible before sealing and waxing. You can tell the difference in the shine.
