How does the 2nd or 3rd transmitter sync in to the code?
Understand the rolling code idea. If it rolls to a new one how does the 2nd or 3rd keyfob code open the door if the code rolls according to the 1st transmitter. For example I drive for a month and use my transmitter say 40 or 50 times. My wife uses her transmitter after I have rolled the code 50 times. It works fine. So does the transmitter I have stored in my house as a spare (#3). How do these transmitters send a code which is recognized and activates or deactives the security system as well as set all memory functions, seat, radio, mirrors, HVAC?
Thank you. I sometimes have to park in a crowded parking lot and always use the remote to lock it, of course is beeps the horn, but someone looking at me just stole my lock code. Thanks for the heads up !

Many years ago when I had a White C4 I brought it to work and parked behind the building (mistake) when I left to go home I saw my drivers window broken and my leather jacket was gone. Suprisingly though I had my wallet and cell phone in the center console and they were still there, so this was a quick break and grab. I quickly learned to not park the car where theres no one around and don't leave anything in the car that would tempt a theif like GPS's, cell phones, Ipods, or leather jackets. The alarm was useless in this case and if a talented thief wants your car or it's contents badly enough they will get it, sooner or later. Let's just say if you see a flatbed or tow truck in a parking lot and its hooks up a car and takes it, would you think it was being stolen or just picked up because it had car troubles? Even if the alarm was going off, no one pays attention anymore because they are always going off. Park your car nose in first with the front wheels turned all the way and don't leave anything tempting visibly in the car and hope nothing happens! That's pretty much all you can do, or don't take it out and park it in public.
