Default Tire Inflation Problem

Alright so here is whats happening. I fill the left rear tire to around 32 psi and in a few days the tps reads it has lost about 10 or so psi. I have take it to two tire shops and they both say they cant find a leak. I was thinking of using the green slime stuff thats supposed to be tps safe. Any thoughts on how to keep this from happening at all? Thanks alot for the help.

Did you double check the pressure with a tire pressure gauge in addition to the tire pressure sensor on the DIC?

I don't have TPS on my Z16, but I know the sensors on my Silverado always show less than what my digital tire pressure gauge shows.

Probably a rim leak. Fix a flat/slime are not meant for long term solutions.

Default I was losing air in one of my wheels a cracked rim on the inside

I kept loosing air in one front wheel. Pulled it and couldn't find a leak in the tire or bead. Looked closely and found a hairline crack from the inside if the rim going about 1 inch. Can usually find these with a hose and slow water coming out of a nozzle. Look for micro bubbles. Should be none.
Another guess is the o ring on the tpms. When they changed tires it leaked there. or could be the valve stem.

I just had the same problem and sprayed the entire wheel and tire with windex. Come back later and find the bubbles.

You may have a problem with "Tire Corrosion".I had this problem last year.A chemical reaction with the wheel, tire and heat, cold & humidity.

Mine had a build-up around the bead causing a slow leak...about 2-3 lbs a week.

I had the tires removed, the wheels scraped smooth and repainted on the inside.

This solved my prob.

I'd say that you have a crake in the wheel. What kind of wheels do you have?
