The Best just got even Better!

NEW for 2011! QTP has taken our proven Quick Time Electric Cutout(QTEC) to the next level. After 2 years in R&D we are proud to offer on our electric exhaust cutouts with a new cast aluminum motor cover. Starting with a CAD, file we designed a cover for the electric motor. Casted with 360 grade aluminum, then CNC machined on the interior for a precision fit. We didn't stop there, we took it one step further using our powder coated finishing process to protect it and keep your electric cutouts looking better than ever! Whether your application is Street or Strip, Hot Rods to the Family SUV the Motor Cover provides your ride with Full Metal Jacket Protection.

Another Industry First!

More Size Options than any other Cutout on the Market!

Our kits are available for any application from old school muscle to high tech imports. Sizes range from 2.25", 2.5", 3", 3.5" and 4" and our popular Low-Profile Oval Cutout kits. If your tight on space? No problem the Low Profile kits are totally customizable as they do not require the standard round Y-pipes. Instead we ship you our polished, connection tubes in the kit from there you cut the pipe to the length and angle that's just right for YOUR specific vehicle. Have questions as to which one will work best for your vehicle? Call Us! We're happy to help.

We have been shipping all our units out since march so all our dealers should have the new style.

bumping because this my next project.

Do you promise that it will scare small dogs and children? How about a Prius hypermiling in the left lane?

So whats the census do people like the dsm or qtp more? Dmh's website says there $369 for 4 inch dual and smaller sizes going for cheaper w/free shipping right now. I am thinking of picking some up just dont know which ones to go with for my Z.

I just installed DMH Low Profiles on my car this weekend. I absolutely love them. Go with DMH. You won't regret it.

Obviously, sitting in traffic, you'd close them to avoid heat issues. Anybody with impressions of long term use and heat problems?
The set I got were modified but never installed. The previous owner added an additional downturn piece so mine are aimed down a little further. Just imagine those downturn pipes replicated and welded together. I mounted my toggle switch inside the cup holder..

I went with DMH's too. This is a great option if you do not want to deal with any drone while driving on the highway. I love the option of the stock sound vs wide open or anything in between....

i've got DMH round ones mounted behind the rear diff & they're awesome! still relatively quiet inside while waking the dead behind me!

best exhaust mod besides LTs/X

another plus for the DMH is the motor stops. you can't burn them up by holding the switch too long

Had a question about either brand of cutouts.
When you hit the button to open the cutouts are they either fully open
or fully closed?

In other words can you have them half way open?

My DMH's can be open in stages just by pushing on the button and not holding down on it...

QTP has an optional controller that can program a one-touch open/close/part-way, but other than that, the switches only run the motors as long as you hold the button

I have 1-1/7" ARH with X-pipe and cats. Can these be installed before the cats on the x-pipe or after?
