Went to pick up my car from the body shop today (its been there for over a month)... When I went to press the A/C button the display lit the yellow light on the A/C button for a second then it turned off.
I checked the DIC.. no HVAC codes.
Its 108 in Phoenix today... I need some cold air...
Suggestions?

I'm not sure we have enough information to help with the diagnosis, but did you try scrolling through various modes (e.g. auto, defrost, lower vents, upper vents, etc.) on the system and then playing with A/C as you changed from one to the other?
just tried every button... Sometimes the yellow LED on the A/C button will blink 3-5 times then turn off. Others times it just stays solid for 2-3 seconds then turns off.
Doesnt matter if the defrosters are on or not or what mode the vents are in.
I sent it to the body shop to get the fenders repainted (they had some rockchips)...
I also had the A/C belt replaced, however the mechanic told me that its an easy fix and he didn't touch anything except the tensioner.
Update.... I just went outside and started it.. .Pully seems to be turning as designed... no signs of slip

I dont have the AC belt on my car now. When I drive I can turn on the AC, and the AC thinks it is on. radiator Fans turn on, idle will go up. It stays lit for my whole hour drive, but there is no cold air.
Yes, the one that plugs into the compressor. Also, comfirm that the clutch is actually engaging. One other item for Bill, if you don't have the belt on, there is no way you are going to get cold air, unless its cold out and the windows are down?

It may be. Let's back track just a bit...was it working fine before having the belt changed?
You can go to most automotive stores and buy the recharge bottle. It's pretty straightforward and the fitting will only attach to the correct line. The low pressure is the one near the firewall. The procedure on the bottle will walk you through testing first to determine if it is low. Its temperature related as to how much pressure you have or should have.
If you are uncertain, take it to an AC repair shop.
If there is a leak they can use a sniffer and detect it.
If was working before the belt change, then someone damaged your AC lines during the belt swap.
The control goes to orange and turns off when there is no refrigerant in the system or it's too low, no question about that.
You can try and buy a can of R134 witha guage on it, hook it up to the line and see what kind of pressure you have. if it's comletely evacuated, I would take the car to an AC shop. If it's just low, top it off to the green marks on the guage and the ac will turn on.
Slight possibility that the pressure sensor is bad also, I have had that happen. they are easy to replace.
Compressor and belt are both turning... Could I be low on refrigerant?
the compressor turns all the time, it's when the clutch plate is engaged when you get cooling. see if the clutch in the middle of the compressor is turning with the compressor.
