Yea. Good thing that your ticket forms just make you check the little boxes. You'd have trouble if you had to write a cohesive sentence. I bet the navy recruitor sent you next door.

I had a Escort Passport 8500 for years and years from my old cars but sold it on Ebay when I bought my Jeep two years ago. I traded the Jeep in for the Vette and my used 8500 should be delivered (Ebay) today. If me ordering the same, 10 year old, used radar detector doesn't prove that it's solid nothing will.

I have had about 6 different Cobras over the last 11 years and I like them until I bought their 2nd best one on their line, I hate it, false alerts galore, even sent it back to the Co. and got another that does the same thing. Either way it has saved my but a lot.

If anyone wants the visor mount I have a used one that I will sell for $20 shipped. Just PM me.
Those who have had problems with the stock suction cup mounts there is an easy solution.
Determine where you want the mount,
remove the suction cups and trace around the mount on the glass where the mount
contacts the glass
rough up the back side of the mount with some sand paper
clean the back of the mount and glass contact area with alcohol
spread a thin layer of clear or black silicone seal on the mount
place the mount to the glass and press firmly
tape the mount to the glass and allow it to cure overnight.
This will last for years and if you want to remove it, just use a razor blade.

The main problem with the equipment used by smokey.it is effective. If you are behind someone the warning by the detector helps / alerts you to their presents...but if you are the leader of the pack and letting it out..... they got you !! no matter what you paid for your equipment

Just ordered a V1 today. Cant wait to try it out!
I bought the V1 for a few reasons...
1) The arrows
2) I have heard from numerous sources that it is the most sensitive to all bands, especially laser.
3) I dont need the speed camera/red light database because my state doesnt have speed cameras and I dont run red lights haha.
