You might get more help if you type a few paragraphs on what the problem is and what you're trying to do.

It sounds like you are asking how to get the climate control out of the center dash (under the radio) ?

Nornally we associate the words "heater controller" with the dash display unit. Is this what you are trying to remove?

You may get a better response if you ask a mod to move your post to C5 Tech section of forum.

If it rattled at one time a previous owner may have glued the HVAC unit to something, I've seem stranger on cars.

Good luck

John, The a/c / heater control only has 2 #15 tork screws holding it in to the dash.
If you are trying to open it up, you need to pull the ***** off and remove the 10 mm nuts off of the temperature controllers and push the temp controllers back and the entire piece will separate in two.
Force NOTHING or get your chequebook out!!!

Are you "from" the county of GA the suceeded from the USA back in the day?

That county is still missing off the state quarter I see

I lived over there for a couple of years in England and never had any issue understanding anyone. I was especially impressed by the children who spoke absolutely perfect "English". Dave(DeeGee) has a good life there with all the history and not so hot temperatures that we have now...going to be at least 38c here today and for those not in Europe, over 100f.

As Professor Higgins said in about speaking English in My Fair Lady: "Why in America they haven't spoken it for years."
