Congrats on the upgrade to the C5Z. Our VB cam is one of my favorites for average power gains across the board with a nice lope, it should put you at about 430rwhp. Where are you located? As we're currently having a cam install special this month. Thanks, Chris

That cam is an old design that works well in an LS1, but lobe technology has gotten better since it came out over 10 years ago and there are better choices for the LS6 imho.

This is a dam good cam, undisputably cant go wrong with this one. Select 115 LSA and +5 deg advance ground in it, to get the power band earlier and making it accelerate faster instead of lazy.

LG doesn't publish the specs, but I think it's about a mid 230's duration with 600ish lift on a 114 split. Full set-up is VR-B2, ported FAST 92/90, catless LG pro's, LG G5X3 kit , UD pulley. The car has a little cam surge under 1500 rpm, but other than that it drives nice, idles at 900 rpm.

Seems almost everyone is just listing ramdom cams.. The cam that's gonna work best for you is gonna depend on a few things.. Your current mods, future mods you may do, type of driving you do( daily driver, weekend only, drag??), Idle and partial throttle caracteristics your looking for. Do u want solid gains everywere or u looking for a max/peak power cam? Every one has diff flavors when it comes to cams..

Cam selection is really what the driver is willing to tolerate in return for power. A g5x3 might be too small for one person and another would never think of putting it in a street car. (Not bashing that cam at all as I am well aware it has one of the most proven track records out there)
Talk to a few shops with a good following and buy a kit with recommended springs and the required hardware. Also get in touch with who will be tuning it as this will play a vital role in the manners the car will have post install.
That 228/232 setup sounded nice.

Ran this cam in my last ZO6, great power throughout the power band! Great lope, great power...then some one rear-ends me and my car is totaled.
