Make sure your Ebrake handle is all the way down. Pull it up an push the button and make sure it's down all the way.

Yea about that, please no bashing but.... i don't use the ebrake i live in the flat lands so not really much need for it. I'm doing some maintenance this weekend and we actually have to adjust it. The ebrake doesn't engage i can pull it up and it wont hold the car at all it does have tension though. Could it be that since the ebrake doesn't work have something to do with it possibly?

Only the front turn signal lamps come on when the the ignition is on, the headlight switch is off and the parking brake is released.

Here's the diagram which shows the switches which affect the operation

Worth checking that the bulbs are good. The turn signals are dual filament bulbs which drive the DRLs, the parking lights and the turn signals. Its possible that both DRL filaments have failed yet the turn signal filaments are still good. If thats the case you'll get rapid flash when you select turn signals.

Yes you need to replace the bulbs, BUT, now you need to look to see if the DRL housings are leaking. This is a common reason bulbs burn out. If they look good with no moisture you can just replace the bulbs.
