I have changed the batteries in all three key fobs and the car fob program will not recognize any of the remotes. I went to the key fob program when tells me to press and hold lock and unlock on first key fob nothing happens. I can hold the buttons for up to 2 minutes on any remote and it wont recognize any of them.
FOB's have been known to quit working..
There is a write up on soldering the FOB back to working order..
I’m not good with electronics so I bought new FOB's when my factory’s stopped working..
Hope you get yours working...
I had several codes that are reoccurring in the BO-RFA Section C 2115 H (Left rear TPM Sensor Malfunction), U1016 H (Loss of Communication with PCM), U1064 H (Loss of Communication with BCM), U1096 H (Loss of Communication with IPC, and U1255 H C Serial Data Line Malfunction. I understand that an H after the code means history and C is current. When I clear the codes and try to reprogram the three key FOBS none of them are recognized again. The dash sits there at "Press the lock and unlock button on 1st fob" I will not learn. I will then recheck then codes and the same codes will come up.
I recently had the same problem on both of my remotes. I replaced both batteries and couldn’t get either remote to program. I took the batteries out and used an alcohol swab to clean the batteries contacts that touch the circuit board. I then used a small file to “clean” the contacts on the circuit board. This fixed one of the remotes. After looking at the other remote, I noted the battery contact was in the wrong position; it didn’t align with the contacts on the circuit board. I moved it and successfully programmed the second remote.
if all u did was change the battery all u have to do is stand next to the car, PRESS and HOLD the LOCK and UnLock Buttons on the Key Fob AT THE SAME TIME for about 7 seconds. When Resynchronization is Achieved, THe Horn Will Beep.
Repeat for the other Key Fobs. Tell me if that worked??!!
