I want to get rid of a set of these, but for the life of me there doesn't even seem to be a market for them. They die on Ebay, and languish on Craigslist...I'd hate to inquire as to scrap value as somehow that seems a bit sacriligous. What are they worth and where is the market?
Yup...not exactly GM's best idea. They are Aluminum wheels and the swaps meets usually do a fair amount of back and forth on such part categories, but these may become the exception to that rule.
Thing is they are taking up valuable space in my one bay Corvette zone, and as such I can never forget them.
I'll give ya 50 bucks for them but you got to pay the shipping to CA - you might end up in the hole - If anyone in N CA has a set drop me a PM I am a buyer - I want to engrave a set & chrome them - tom
Those beauties are the agreed exception...were mine like that I'd be inclined to hold onto them for a future change of pace perhaps!
Thanks. I actually really liked them and sometimes miss the chrome look, but I really love my deep dish 20's. It's just that I am getting a slight vibration in the 20" rears now and miss how smooth my crappy wagons were.
I've gotten some nice compliments on mine. People who don't know any better seem to like them.

UniqueDoug's FRC looks just like my wife's FRC. Chrome WW's on a Pewter FRC does look pretty good especially in motion.
To answer the OP, I agree with JD, they make good track wheels, drag radials winter rims or sell individually as replacements for a damaged rim. If they are in excellent shape and you have the space you might as well keep them to install back on the car if you sell it.

Nice pewter FRC
Exactly why mine are stowed away. That and I've never had 20" wheels on 30 series tires, so nice to have a back up set that looks good "just in case".
