All I can say is, rookies, I live in California, I eat earthquakes for breakfast...... we get them all the time..... haha..
Hope nobody got hurt, based on the web, 12-21-12 will be the end of the world, so clean up those C5's and enjoy them as much as you can... silly people...
Haven't you learned yet; NOTHING is his fault. What is the last job you had where over two years in and sucking at the position you could continue to blame the last guy who sat at the desk before you? I never had that job myself.
Oh yeah, don't forget that two years before you took that job you were in control of conditions that affected that job you now suck at.
I don't even notice most quakes anymore. LOL I was awake for the 94 Northridge quake when I was almost 11. Since, Earth quakes haven't bothered me. If one wakes me up, I usually just turn over and go back to sleep.
^lol. I felt it pretty good here in Virginia. It lasted a good 15 seconds. I was on the concrete on the plant floor and it felt like I was on a trampoline.
I live in staten island and was in autozone picking up some stuff for the road to carlisle, parked my vette on a ramp spot in the lot backed it up about two feet from the parkstop pole and when i came out it was down around five feet from the stop pole...**** i said thought i was drunk or better start drinking...just hope everyone is okay in the lower lying areas to the epicenter....sounds like we were all doing something with our corvettes today sounds cool, see ya all in carlisle good night and god bless.
I'm in NNJ and the guy next to me at work yelled at me to stop shaking his desk. When he realized I was across the room he said, "oh, must be an earthquake".
Of course, then I was shaking his desk for the rest of the day. He must have thought there were 50 aftershocks by quitting time.
Yeah, move to California if you want quakes. These days out there, anything under a 6.0 doesn't get much attention by anyone. For all those on the east coast and your first quake, yes, its a surprise and you don't know its coming so a bit scary. BTW, before anyone says anything to me about being here in Arkansas, I was born in Calif. and till I retired last year, I was working there for the past 25 years.
