Cell phone is usually in my pocket as the stereo has Bluetooth so any calls are handled through that. I also have a dual Travel Buddy cupholder - sunglasses and a couple of doodads and my cup a joe or can of Diet Coke. I do keep a few things in the console - phone charger, a few quarters for meters, a small screwdriver and 8mm and 10mm wrenches.
For even more storage, I have some trays behind the seats in the front of the rear area (mine's a convertible). Rather than one of the custom molded plastic trays, I went with three bamboo kitchen drawer trays - 15 inches long each by 6 inches wide and about 2 inches deep, they fit perfectly and give me lots of storage for small things (flashlight, GPS when it's not on the dash, extra sunglasses, etc.). And, at $6 or $7 each tray, an inexpensive solution plus the natural bamboo finish looks great with the Light Oak interior. Things I need to reach while driving go in the tray behind the passenger.
I found a small bag with a velcro flap. I think I got it at K Mart for about $10.
It sits just behind the seats and takes all those small things that would roll around.
Thanks. I might have known it would take an aviator to get it. We can't have stuff flying around the cockpit while we're pulling g's. $10 is in my wheelhouse too.

I am a rookie C5 Z06 owner. I acquired it a couple weeks ago from a forum member. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-c...-z06-nice.html
My daily driver is a pickup truck and storage for stuff is not an issue. There isn't anywhere in this car to put personal items like a cellphone. I attended a Corvette show at Day's Chevrolet in Acworth, GA recently and saw one car that had some small leather pouches attached to the front seats close to the floor that matched the interior of the car. I was not a Corvette owner at the time and never thought to ask where he got them. I have looked on-line and not found anything similar. Perhaps they are custom accessories. I would appreciate any ideas barring carrying a man-purse. If anyone knows the owner of the car with those pouches put me in touch please.
Here try this web site, I too saw those, they look like waist packs that attach under the front of the vette seats. Here is another form of storage that may work for you;
Man you have one hell of a nice car. Alot of people would love to have that Z.
Now what the heck are you trying to store in it? What are you trying to organize in a 2 seat sportscar?
Keep that Vette clean. Keep it mint.
Pull it out the garage. Drive the hell out of it. Park it back in the garage. Done deal.
Or thats what I do with mine.

I know you're right!
On the odd ocassion when the sky is clear and I drive it to work, mostly to show it off, then I have extra stuff to bring along. The center console works well for holding the registration and insurance card as well as the iPod adapter. The cup holder is perfect for my travel coffee mug (no I don't drink coffee in the car) right now everything else goes in the passenger seat.
