Does any corvette C5 model have rear wheels bridge? or just Z06 ?
As my fellow members have noted, WELCOME FRIEND ! Considering the high price of bring a Corvette into Russia, have you considered buying just the targa body, and building your own chassis ? I ask because by the time your finished doing what you want, I bet you'll have only memories of what the C5 stock chassis looked like. Here is a link to a company that buys wreaked Corvettes and sells the pieces off them. I have used them many times in the past and they ship UPS every day www.contemporarycorvette.com See if you got a body and then you'd have all the time in the world to design and build a chassis for the car which will be both a shape you like and the underpinnings of a AWD automobile. You obviously have a great deal of experience of fabrication, so that is no problem and I assume tube & flat plate stock is available in your area. Only my $0.02 !
sorry for my english, I dont know how it's called exactly in english, in direct russian it is - rear wheels bridge(axle), it's my friend's corvette z06:

That setup doesn't appear to be a C5 to me. Way different than a C5 and I believe the base C5 and the Z06 look the same.
Keep in mind the C5 has the transmission mounted in the rear also.
