Took a short 1 hour cruise to visit a friend down the Jersey Shore yesterday. Perfect Vette weather here in NJ.

Nothing better than cruising with favorite music. The C5 is so darn comfortable, and hugs the road like no other. Gotta love the sound as you accelerate through the gears, coming out of the toll booths.

Also nice to see a positive thread, without a list of problems and malfunctions. I know they happen, believe me, but gotta believe the majority of owners have lots of time with their C5's just driving and enjoying the feeling.

I know how you feel. I've very fortunate to own a C5.

My car has been problem-free and a joy to own
(2004 Lemans Ed coupe) and I just love it.
When I found this forum and read some of the horror
stories, I had some regret ... but it has turned out to be a reliable car...
and a head turner at every stoplight.

I really enjoy going through the gears with the top down in this fall like weather here in Arkansas.
Thanks for the positive thread to be able to share some vette love.
I'm still listening to CCR and Led Zep the most with some early Stones now and then.

And I can't wait to get mine! Just 24 days left!
BTW, where in NJ are you from? Takes me about an hour to get to the shore too.

Default Union Cruise

Hey Chasboy,

when you get your vette, lets have a two car Union Cruise. Heck we could cruise to as far as Morris County.

Considering that's where I live, great idea! Striper is in Sussex also.

I'm getting a black 2002 Z06 with 16k miles from a fellow club member. 23 days left....

Default What a car

Hey Chasboy;

guess its a cruise to Sussex County. Been a while for me. My former job had me visiting Morris, Sussex, Bergen and Warren counties. Some awfully beautiful country sides......

Must be some nice cruising roads....

Nice car, best of luck with it....
