What about your shifting??? Look at your tach, and when you upshift, if your RPMs jump up when you release the clutch pedal after shifting into the next higher gear, then you either need to shift more quickly or blip the throttle a bit before engaging the clutch so as to rev-match.
At first, thats what I thought could have been the problem, because finding 3rd was a challenge for a little while but as I got used to it, and started being able to change gears quicker, it turned out to not be the case. I'm praying that its the clutch fluid...
I was going to the dealer also, but bro, ranger guy is correct, down to buying that syringe from Walmart. Just suck that old fluid, clean it up and refill. 15 minutes.
It helped, but the vette drives different with this clutch.
Here is my trick, and I got the info. from this site.
When shifting from first to second, don't push the clutch all the way to the floor. Mine is about 2 inches down and ready to shift to 2nd.
