I have run ECR several times, lots of fun but it is very hard on brakes. Very fast straight aways followed by slow hairpins.
As for watching, I find it very difficult to observe more than a turn or two. Best viewing I think is up on the hill.

I've been on it on my bike. Nice elevation changes. Horrible drainage if it rains. I've heard runoffs are kinda rocky but I didn't want to find out on the bike.
