Not to beat a dead horse but I was just messing around looking at prices and came across this.

http://www.gmpartscenter.net/?i=2&ma...=18&type=parts

Could this be the fabled EBCM or maybe a mistake in the online catalog?

be careful...the one WITH active brake control is farther down the parts list...for over $1300. Also, the one on ebay right now is from a flood car from hurricane Irene on the northeast coast...looks like lots of corrosion damage on the outside, and certainly fecked up connectors on the inside...may even come with salt water.

That company does not have that item...they replied discontinued by GM. On a further note, I did order the ABS pump/EBCM from fparts on eBay....paid $300 to have it installed by the dealership only to discover I was sent a defective part (EBCM) specifically. They sent me another one so I'm paying another $300 to see if this one works.

And the ones for the 1998 are $1400+

But the description is for what we think it is - it says the same in the PDF files for our Vette's parts (Wordage is the same)

Thanks,Matt

The dealer is ripping you! A couple years ago the dealer wanted $140 to replace my pump. EBCM should be a 1/2 hour job for them to complete.
