Only $104900.
Anyways, before I worked for Callaway, I remember driving a silver C12 at Carlisle from the fairgrounds to Harrisburg for dinner.
While the car may have had "only" 440 hp, this was nearly 100 more hp than the C5 had at the time. As you recall, C5s were pretty much on-par with some of the last C4s in the horsepower dept., as the LT4 cars had 330 hp and if you were lucky, your C5 coupe had 350. But I'm getting off track here...
Anyways, on the drive, so many people loved seeing that car. One group of people were in Harrisburg at a streetside cafe. I remember people practically jumping out of their chairs to get a better look...
Cameras came out, folks yelled how much they loved the car, and one guy practically dragged his girlfriend off the curb to get a better look. They were all excited, that's for sure

Anyways, the ride back to the hotel after dinner wasn't much different. In this car, one could easily be mistaken for a rock star - and feel like one too with the cheering, thumbs-up, and camera flashes

It should also be mentioned, the car sounded like a million bucks!
The large exhaust canister made beautiful noise and made me want to rev the car to hear more So what's the point of my story? I mean, I haven't even addressed the fact the car handled so well, sitting two meters wide and wider than any passenger car I had ever driven... It wasn't discussed that the interior was a delight with all its carbon fiber and leather, removing the acres of plastic from the factory...
My point is, drive one - if you are near Dallas, go and see this car in person, listen to the car idle and then pull away from a stop, running her through the gears... take a corner, hit the brakes - she does everything your C5 does, only better, quicker, and with a ton of style.
Enjoy!

i think the one shown looks goofy, but those other pics posted up look nice. i like the hatch area.
also, it has taillights from a civic

In the one pic of the C12, you can see their photographer taking pics of the C12 from all angles. Cool stuff

Golly gee I can't imagine why.
