you've tried making sure it was plugged back in all the way, right? have you tried reversing the polarity (i'm assuming you're installing LEDs) by turning the bulb 180*? have you played with the plunger switch to make sure it didn't just get stuck? check fuses, turn the key to 'on' & see if it works on the high setting (the glove box lights on 2 intensities - low when the key's off & high when the key's on)

I installed the rest of my 194's today and they look great. The glove compartment light power lead must not have been seated in the plug properly, 'cause now it's working well.
I did the 'reach thru the top of the headlights' method to replace the front side markers. Just needed a LONG needlenose to hold the wire to plug in the bulb.
