Convertible Partitions
There are quite a few vendors on here selling C5 Convertible partitions. So who did you use, good product, happy with the quality, do you see a significant reduction in road / exhaust noise in the cabin?
I have LG LT's, LG X Pipe and Borla Quad Stingers but I'm less inclined to put up the the exhaust drone now.
So, please give me the name of vendor you used and was it a quality product? Would you buy it again and did it function well?
Thanks. Mike

Its well made and is still looking good. The big advantage is it fits with the roof either up or down so no hassle of taking it out to drop the top. It also protects the roof from stuff in the trunk.
The partition fits in place with velcro. I had to reglue the velcro pads after about a year as the adhesive gave up and the partition slipped. Other than that its a great product.
Its a perfect match for the stock carpet, although I since fitted a Lloyds trunk mat.
I paid about $110 but that was a long time ago. Looks like they are $140 now but its a quality product so I'd say it's good value.
I'd recommend it

I have the same partition and love it primarily due to the angled design. The ones that go straight down sacrifice too much trunk room, plus it landed right on top of my C5 logo on my Lloyds trunk mat which I did not like.
After about one year, I also removed the little velcro tabs and replaced them with a full strip on top and two smaller strips on the side. Now it is rock solid when in use.

and now it's just sitting up in my garage rafters.
good luck with your search.

Its made from 2-1/2" high-density foam and is a compression fit.
They claim a noise reduction of 40 to 60 %. I believe that to be about right. I also have Sound Killer panels installed in back of the seats that also reduces road noise. The combination of both works well for me.
The panels also provides a privacy screen to the area between the seat backs and the trunk.
I am happy with these products and would buy the same ones today.
