Problem!!!! MPH/KPH going crazy
So randomly my thing changes to mph and kph automatically really crazy.
My buttons on the side don't work when that's happening. (reset, trip, E/M etc)
any help?

My car was built for Canada sale and would reset to KPH at almost every ignition cycle. I figured it had a weak battery as it had set up for almost a year before I got it. I would just reset to MPH but it did bug me. When i finally got around to pulling battery out to have checked at local auto store I noticed that the battery terminals were quite loose. I suppose at some point the battery was disconnected and when reconnected terminals were not tighthed. Anyway bettery tested and only had about 40% life left. I got a new battery, installed, tightend connections and no trouble since. It stays on MPH. From what you describe this is likely not your problem but might be worth a look anyway.

I agree - check battery first, then if that proves OK, consider a new DIC switch.
