Default 2000 c5 frc

What do you guys think a 2000 FRC is worth with 44,000 miles on the clock. The car is stock except for a Borla exhaust and air intake.
car shows real nice, and interior ia also good, with no rips or cracks. Also anything to look out for with these cars. Benz dealer by my house has this for sale for $17,000, and wanted to see if it was wirth it.
thanks, any comments is greatly appreciated

I picked up mine in San Diego from a Chevy Dealership with 62K on the clock for $16500 and same as you, mine alrready had a Vararam CAI system and B&B PRT exhaust on it.

So I'd say $17K isn't a bad price and you may be able to talk them down a little more.

Good luck !

I paid 15k for my 2000 FRC 6 spd with 100k miles on it a year ago. It ran like a turd but after $1,500 tune up it runs great. Mine also had a Borla exhaust and VR intake. If it has been taken care of it is worth it.Run a carfax and check out the history. Make sure it hasn't been in a flood or something.

Take a look at "Kelley Blue Book"(.com). Gives you a good national average.

It's a good starting point. In the spring it would be well worth that, IMO. Right now I would try 15 to 16.

I'd say that's a decent price, especially if it is in really good shape.

I paid $10,000 for my 99 FRC with 100k on it back in October. I can't believe how much better the C5 is than the C4s.

Sounds like a pretty good price IMO. I've got a '99 FRC that I bought new & can think of no issues other then the column lock problems. Kits to solve this issue avail for approx $50Good luck!

Not a bad starting price. Are you located in cold country? Makes the dealer want to unload it a bit more. Do some hard negotiating, I think you can do pretty well.

ok so just came across a 2002 regular coupe (not FRC) with 29,000 miles on it, and they are asking $22,900.00 from a chevy dealer. Seems a little high but not sure? What should this one be around?
thanks again guys

Thats what I figured on it being worth about $20,000.00.
I hear ya Sinister, but just trying to get the best deal on one and I like the fact its 2 years newer with less mileage.
