Default Help!! transmission question

I have a 2002 Z06 with 24,000 miles on it. When changing the transmission fluid, I could only get in 3 1/4 quarts before it started dripping out. (this is the first time I have changed it.)
From reading on the forum, I understand that usually it should take at least 3 3/4 quarts.
The car was level when I changed the fluid and I made a point to allow the old fluid to drain for about 15 minutes before I added the new, so I assume the old fluid was completely drained out.
Has anyone ever run into this?? Any suggestions??
Thanks
Dave

Default tranny fluid

According to the following link, the owner added the same amount as you did:

If its full it's full, don't worry about it.
