Funny about the Brat. Haven't heard about those for a long time. Weird little trucks, but again, everything has its place. I sort of feel the same way about the big fire-breathing v-8 under the hood. What a feeling; and what a beautiful sound. If they could only make a 4 cylinder sound like a v-8.

Miata vs Corvette differences, IMHO, is summed up with "zoom-zoom" vs "rumble-rumble".
I spent 10 years enjoying a '90 and then a 2002 Miata.
My Miata short list:
Pros: lots cheaper, car, part, fuel, mods
Good gas mileage
17 mpg at the race track turning 5500 to 6000rpm
Cons: hard ride
Oversteer
I maxed out at 200 miles at a time, noise, ride
Bought my 2000 vette for the dual purpose of cruising and canyon carving. So far it hasn't disappointed. Bits and pieces are sure expensive or unavailable though.
