I am planning on selling my car in the spring. Everything on the car is in great shape. The seat bottom ripped today but I have ordered a replacement for it. Car runs greta no issues at all.
I just have one problem, I get the Wait 10 second.....message, well you know the rest. I have done everything to fix it and still get it.
How much should I take off the selling price to compensate for the message coming up. Remember the car has no mechanical issues, starts and runs great.
This thread is not about how to fix the column lock bypass.

1999 Convertible. Black, black roof. Light oak interior. These parts have less than 500 miles on them, probably less than 250 miles. C6 Z06 wheels, Falkin tires, brakes, drilled and slotted rotors. Duel cone air intake. New battery less than a month old. It also has Z06 screens in the front bumper and real Z06 brake ducts in the rear. It has a HUD setup and a 15 cd player(factory). Recent tune up, oil change. I also had the computer tuned by Corvettes of Westchester. 65,000 miles on it. Also clean title and carfax. I have this car for 9 years and it was always taken care of. I am the second owner. How much should I ask. I have seen them for 13.000 to 16,000. I am looking to get a c3 when I sell.
Here's a method to post pictures without setting up any account or uploading any pictures to an offsite location. Load directly from your computer to the forum. Also, minor point, if the cd changer is factory, it's a 12 disc changer.

Do you have a column lock bypass installed on the car? If not, you might want to spend the $50 and do that. Also, has any recalls been done on the car like the K-Harness one?

if you do a search of my name on here you will see I have taken every avenue to try to fix this.
This thread is not about the problem it is about how much should I take off for the buyer from the selling price to compensate for the problem.

I would have bet (a cup of coffee) that Chuck of COW could program that out (delete).
