I have a Government Issue 1911 - it was my late father's gun. It is an irreplaceable heirloom that I take out to shoot once in a while. My everyday carry gun is a Sig P220 Carry. I love this gun, if it's possible to love a gun. I know it will be there if I need it. Skip the brakes unless you're down to the rivets, and get what you want.
I'm a sig fan as well we carry 229s at work and I have a personal one at home I also have several Glocks I get a good deal on them so its hard to beat although I'm not a big fan of them I carry off duty with either my 23 or 27 and my 229 every now and then but its a bigger gun to cover up. All my guns are .40 because thats what we use for work but I just got a great deal on Sig 1911 I may have to pull the trigger and get the .45 they are sweet guns. Cant have to many weapons
Love living in Nevada. CCW and can shoot out in the desert as long as you are at least 1000 yards from the roadway. Where's the cheapest website to buy oem brakes? Going gun shopping today with my buddy. Looking for the best deal in town.

As a Swat officer, firearms instructor and Armorer for Glock, S&W, Sig and Beretta I am strongly recommending GET A SIG P220 (.45) or if you like those lil cartridges get the 229 (9mm)!
Stock brakes and Glock.
Glock is the most used service weapon in the world, that says it all.
People who say this brand shoots more accurate than that brand, blah, blah, blah, are simply poor marksmen. Any quality handgun will shoot better than most folks can shoot them (experienced shooters included). I can pick up a Glock, M&P, Sig, Kimber, Colt, Springer, whatever, and shoot it well. And there really isn't 2 cents worth of difference in dependability of all the major brands either. If you want a Glock, buy a Glock.

Reason: just because
The coating on glocks is awesome, but you couldnt pay me to own one. Ill just say what i tell everyone i teach, get the gun that makes the biggest hole where ever you aim on the first shot, and dont buy a hi-point. It doesnt matter what round, what ballistics, brand or finish if you miss. If u like the glock and can hit what you aim at buy it. I have a beretta px4 in 40 and love it. Get the gun itll last longer than the brakes.
