It sounds great.

I am partial though, I bought its twin last month. (also a navy blue, gray interior, 6 speed, short shifter, about the same miles, etc.)

I think you will have fun with it. I am really enjoying mine (especially if it would quit snowing and get the salt off the roads here.)

Looking into doing coilovers next after riding in a c5z running Pfadts.

The base suspension sucks BAD. The Z51 suspension is better, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Then again, I usually run Corvettes that have twice the stock horsepower, and push my C5s more so than 90% of the guys on here.
How did the Bilsteins feel? I assume your were lowered on stock bolts...?

They ride great, and are much more stable over uneven surfaces than the z51's and base suspensions. I've also had Michelin Pilot Sports, and Nitto 555rII's with this car, and with the Nittos, she is planted and confidence inspiring on the street. With 800hp though, you want as much stability as possible! And yes, the car is lowered.

When I jump to coilovers, I will be putting these shocks on my dad's base C5 automatic with a set of C6z51 swaybars.

I have not noticed a rougher ride with the Bilsteins over the other two suspensions. Still very comfortable on a 300 mile drive to Lake Havasu City, from San Diego.

Sounds good, this will be what I'll be doing also. For the money it seems like a great package (Bilsteins, C6 sways). Right now I'm lowered on stock bolts with the base suspension and the ride is quite harsh
