Default Blinker Issue

I'm starting to have an issue with my blinkers (indicators). Most of the time they work great but about 2 days a week, on my drive home from work, they won't work at all (left or right). Any ideas?

Scroll down to number 48. Very easy fix. You can forgo the headlight connector and use insulated female spade connectors. $7.00 fix.

The hazard warning unit could be the problem. If not its probably the turn signal switch on the stalk.

Try pushing the hazard switch firmly a few times. Does it clear the problem? If so, the bypass is a good fix. If not, try some electronics cleaner squirted into the T/S switch on the stalk. If it improves, that may be the problem.

Both of the switches are unreliable and its a common problem here. Try to isolate the problem and we can offer advice on how to change the switch.

I used a blinker bypass that installs under the drivers kickplate. Very easy install, the bypass is made for LED turn signals but fixes the problems of the bad blinker/hazard switch which is harder to get too. The hazard lights will still work and be unaffected by the bypass.

If the hazard switch is indeed the problem it will also be affecting your brake lights. Lots of places sell the bypass ($49) including CC and other vendors.
