dependability question
Comfortable, reliable, and it will kick *** when you stomp it. Otherwise, Driving Mrs. Daisy if you like.
I should mention that I work out of my home (self-employed) so I do not have to park it a work-site parking lot during the day and I have it garaged whenever I am not out on the street.
For a single person like me it is a great DD, but stressful if you care about keeping the car in perfect condition (like I do). You have to watch where you park, certain places are out of the question (like movie theaters, bars, etc.), dodging flying rocks is fun where I live and so on.
For me it is not that impractical - it is amazing how much stuff the coupe can hold and whenever I need something hauled home bigger than will fit, I hire someone with a Pick-Up Truck for $20 (3 times in the past 11 years). To me lugging around an over-sized vehicle (especially a pick-up truck) as a DD is insane - takes up twice as much space as needed, sucks gas, damn diesels sound like they are getting ready to collapse, and an eye-sore. The only real plus side to driving a Utility Vehicle is you don't have to give a damn about it and you can park anywhere you want (if it will fit) and sling rocks at Corvettes vs dodge them. Out here, EVERYONE drives a pick-up - mostly oversized models - and you rarely see more than one person in them and you NEVER see anything in the back. They are just brainwashed into thinking that they are convenient (which they can be that one day a year you might "need" one). As for me I am out $60 the past 11 years and did not have to have the "inconvenience" of driving a pick-up.

Couldn't have said it better myself, I truly hate trucks and their bully, urban assult vehicle attitutes. Greetings, Rob
