Default Corvette Resale Value

There are a few corvettes with 120k-200k. What would you guys pay for a 180,000 Mile Corvette in decent shape. Blue Book says <10,000 really like 7-9.. asking prices seem to be more around 11-14. I know the market value and personal value all depends on each individual seller but im trying to find a middle ground here. Hopefully I worded this right and you guys understand what Im trying to say

How about a year, body style and options. Yes the high mileage will bring the price down, but there is a big difference if it is a 1997 coupe, base model or an 04 Z06 loaded. Even with the high mileage, there will be a difference in the price.
A 1997 with the base package is around $9,500 with 180,000K while a 2004 Z06 loaded out with the same mileage is around $15,400 in the KBB

1998 and a 2001 Coupe Base both were around 8-9 for good/very good

I wouldn't consider a car with that many miles at all.

The only way I would purchase a car with that many miles is knowing up front I am getting ready to drop in a new power plant. I would not pay over 8k for it. Regardless how clean it is 180,000 miles is alot.

I wouldn't either unless I got it for a steal. Not even sure I would go $8K for it.

I bought my car last feb with 136,00, have 141,000 on it now. It hasn't used any oil, and runs very good. It's on its 2nd set of plugs and wires. The po replace the plugs at 85000 miles. I changed the oil, filter, plugs and wires when I first bought it. I was offered $16,000.00 for it last summer, and turned it down. If you leave the odometer set on trip you can't tell its got that many miles on it. I drove cars with 60,000 when I was looking, and they didn't drive any better. Some of those didn't drive as well, but I don't believe they had the z51 package.

Yes it was. He had been looking for a C5 vert for several months below 18,000.00 and couldn't find one . He gave up and settled for an eclipse vert. He wanted a silver/black or red/black. His eclipse is silver/black. I thought about selling and buying one with lower miles, but why? I DD mine april/oct. I even started looking at C6s, but I just don't like them at all. 60,000/80,000 mile verts around here start at 20,000 up. I've never seen a C5 around here less than 12,000 much less a vert for that.

I can say that I drove a 59,000 coupe two weeks ago at a dealership and it was trashed, rode like my 200,000 mile 200 alero, lots of engine and transmission whine, suspension cluck, interior missing buttons, visors torn to crap, minor electrical problems. So I could see a 180,000 mile being in better condition. But they want 15,000 for the 59k vert but I would not pay over 10 for a 180k vert. I want/and need a vette and a new car but i will NOT over pay and I dont keep cars very long thats why the search for the high mileage cars

Based on what I have been offered for my 2004 6 speed coupe, with 25,000 miles, you will have to pay someone to take one with 180,000 plus miles.
