What year is your Corvette?
The 2004 model year with vin 45110258-45125500 had defective fuel tanks and are covered by a special service adjustment for when the tanks "begin to leak" which is worthless after the fact. This should have been a recall covering known defective tanks which pose a hazard to vehicle safety.

If it isn't asking to much, would love to know how your insurance handles this.
